Well, making a video here after a long time away from the channel, but I think the topic I wanted to talk about was basically that I became “build”. Basically now I’m 100%. I think I went a bit through the stages of grief of typing code, of thinking that my, my professional identity — I’m an analytics-engineering engineer, but like, I always thought of myself, I always thought, I always had it in my head that knowing more syntax than the others would somehow make me. Actually, technically it would: if you think about the point of view of how things were going, it was that you knowing more syntax, knowing the guts of the programming language, would give you a very big professional competitive advantage.
But man, that is not true anymore. And um, I confess that now I have three plans: Codex, Cursor and Chat PT, Codex, course, and I just signed up for cloud. And man, really good, man. You can do a whole lot. I got a bunch of stuff done. I got a bunch of things out. Like, there were many things I had ideas for, or I wanted to do, and I never did them because I don’t have time. I’m the father of two kids, I’m a husband, I work for, and there’s no time, man, to be doing a personal project outside work. At least not in my current life condition. Like stopping and sitting for an hour of my day to type code, man, no way. Unfortunately, right, in my current phase of life, that isn’t a reality. And I started to give it a chance: ah, let me try to make my little personal site.
I did. I was doing the, I was going to pick up my daughter — no, I wasn’t on the way, I went to pick up my daughter at school while they called her and I waited. I opened the course on my phone and I, I was, I had the idea, I had already done it that morning today. This here is Thursday, September 24. I had already made a change that morning, here, look: I had a little button on my site, which is the button to switch the light and dark theme, that kind of thing. And I had, it came to me, I had noted that I wanted to turn that button kind of into an Uno card, so that when you press it, it flips. I had seen another guy’s site that had a die that was like a clickable die, and the die randomly opened an item from the articles I had.
And then, when I, then this idea of doing the Uno came to me. I made the Uno card, it’s working. Then I said: “OK, and what if I wanted that when it went from the light theme to the dark, it absorbed the site’s light, and when it was the other way around it did the opposite.” [snoring] Man, I sent the prompt, the course, what I wanted. I went, my daughter came back, we got in the car, we went to lunch, it was ready, man. It was what I wanted. Like, I defined the concept of what I wanted and it was ready. So I think I don’t know how the profession is going to be, I don’t know how it’s going to be. I think you have to take advantage of the things that exist. Like, you can use this thing to learn, for the thing you don’t know.
So it’s a good test: even if it doesn’t have the knowledge, it manages, you send the screenshot, you send something, you manage. Uh, even, for example, I already have a lot of GPT Luna on my personal account and my tokens are fine, let’s say. My Cursor Pro is also fine. I only overspent my spending on another model, but that’s also pretty calm. Cloud I haven’t used now; now that 5.5 came out I still haven’t tested it, but like, it’s been pretty calm. I think the point here is that I think one of the things I already noticed here: the more things you did, the more valued you were. And now you have the tooling to do more things, more things that belonged to other areas. And basically you only need to have the curiosity and the ambition to do it that way.

I’ve been using Grockbot like crazy, man. Crazy, like, it was usable, you can use it more, but, for example, I was trying to make it schedule some things. Automatically, when I ask, ah, sort this out for me, take that out, unsubscribe, it unsubscribes. So like, I’m thinking of also putting a bot to look after the YouTube channel. [snoring] So that’s it, man. Like, it’s a lot, like, there’s a lot of possibility. I think I suffered a certain day of mental fatigue at the beginning, because there’s a crazy high from doing a lot of things at the same time, but I think now it’s a bit more under control. I think with the right tooling — for example, the course is an excellent tool, bizarrely excellent.

Bom, fazendo um vídeo aqui depois de muito tempo no canal, mas eu acho que o tema que eu queria falar era basicamente que eu me tornei build. Basicamente agora estou 100%. Acho que passei um pouco pelas fases do luto de ficar digitando código, de achar que a minha minha a identidade da da profissão, tô tô como engenheiro de anavit engineering, mas assim sempre me achei, sempre achei, eu sempre tinha na minha cabeça de que saber mais sintasse dentro dos que os outros ia me tornar de alguma forma. Na verdade, tecnicamente iria, se você pensar do ponto de vista como é que as coisas estavam indo, era de que você saber mais cintasse, saber as entranhas da linguagem de programação te daria uma vantagem competitiva profissional muito grande.
Mas cara, não é não é mais verdade isso. E hum, eu confesso que agora eu tô com três plans de Codex, Cursor e Chat PT, Codex, curso e acabei de assinar o cloud. E cara, muito bom, cara. Dá para fazer fazer muita coisa. Eu tirei um monte de coisa. Tirei um monte de coisas. Tipo, tinha muitas coisas que eu tinha ideias ou eu queria fazer e eu nunca fiz porque eu não tenho tempo. Sou pai de duas crianças, sou marido, trabalho para e não tem tempo, pô, para ficar fazendo projeto pessoal fora do trabalho. Pelo menos não na tua na minha atual condição de vida. tipo parar e sentar uma hora do meu dia para ficar digitando o código, cara, sem condições. Infelizmente, né, na minha fase atual de vida, isso não é uma realidade.
E eu comecei a dar uma chance, ah, deixa eu tentar fazer o meu sitezinho, pessoal. fiz. Eu tava fazendo a, eu tava indo buscar minha filha no tava indo não, eu fui buscar minha filha no colégio enquanto chamavam ela e eu esperava. Eu abri o curso no meu celular e eu eu tava eu tava com a ideia de eu já tinha feito pela manhã hoje. Isso aqui é quinta-feira, 24 de setembro. Eu já tinha feito pela manhã uma modificação aqui, ó, eu tinha um botãozinho no meu site que é o botão de trocar o tema claro, escuro, esse tipo de coisa. E eu tinha, eu veio, eu tava com, eu tava notado que eu queria transformar esse botão meio que numa carta de Uno, que quando você aperta, ele dá uma virada. Eu tinha visto outro site de um cara que ele tinha um dado que era tipo um esterecto clicável e o dado abria aleatoriamente um um item do um item do dos artigos que eu tinha.
E aí quando eu aí me veio essa ideia de fazer o Uno, fiz a carta do Uno, tá tá funcionando. Aí eu falei: “Tá, e se eu quisesse que quando fosse o quando grasse do tema claro pro escuro, ele absorvesse a luz do site quando e quando fosse o depois e o contrário fizesse o contrário. Eu acho que tem que aproveitar as coisas que tem. É tipo, dá para usar esse negócio para aprender pra coisa que você não sabe.
Então é uma é um bom teste, mesmo que ele não tenha conhecimento, ele consegue, você manda o print, manda uma coisa, você consegue. Eh, mesmo, por exemplo, tenho já muito GPT Luna na minha conta pessoal e meus tokens estão suave, digamos assim. Meu cursor Pro também tá suave. Eu só gastei o demais o os meus gastos com outro modelo, mas também tá bem tranquilo. O Cloud eu não usei agora, agora que saiu 5.5 ainda não testei, mas assim, bem tá sendo bem tranquilo. Eu acho que o ponto aqui é que eu acho que uma da umas coisas que eu já notava aqui, quanto mais coisas você fazia, mais valorizado você era. E agora você tem os o ferramental para você fazer mais coisas, mais coisas que eram inerentes às outras áreas.
E basicamente você só precisa ter a curiosidade e a ambição de fazer assim. É muito maluco, muito maluco. Não tem um tô mais documentando isso aqui. Inclusive eu tô querendo voltar com o canal porque foi outra coisa assim que eu achei do O, como eu sou, tenho cursor pro, eu também tenho grop bot no meu eh por tabela. tem usado o Grockbot que nem o maluco, pô. Maluco assim dava para usar, dá para usar mais, mas, por exemplo, tava tentando fazer ele agendar algumas coisas, eu tinha dado acesso à minha conta pessoal do do WhatsApp, o Grockbot, só que eu era meio ríspido com quando, por exemplo, eu pedia para ele agendar alguma coisa ou ele quando ele recusava, ele era muito borsal. E também a ideia era dar um número Grockbot próprio para ele resolver as coisas para mim.
Ainda tô tentando resolver isso porque tem umas frescurinhas do WhatsApp, mas paciência. Mas assim, e-mail, a caixa de e-mail nunca esteve mais limpa. Botei um um bote lá para ficar cuidando da minha caixa de e-mail. Todo dia ele me todo pela manhã ele me dá um resumo do que chegou. Eu descarto um monte de coisa. Ele automático, ele quando eu peço, ah, resolve isso para mim, tira isso aí, descadastro, descadastra. Então assim, eu tô pensando em colocar os um bote também para poder cuidar do canal do YouTube. [roncando] Então é isso, pô. assim, é muito, tipo, tem muita possibilidade. Eu eu acho que eu sofri um dia certo do cansaço mental no começo, porque dá um tesão maluco de você tá fazer muita coisa ao mesmo tempo, mas eu acho que agora tá um pouco mais controlado.
Eu acho que com ferramental certo, por exemplo, o curso é um ferramental excelente, bizarramente excelente. É o é é a ponta da lança do do estado da arte, acho que da qualificação atualmente. [roncando] Talvez não tem os maiores modelos, por exemplo, falar que pro meu caso de uso tinha achado bom o Grock, o Grock, o Grock 4.7 FCH tem sido bom, [roncando] não é? O Fash, é o FCH, na verdade 4.7 high tem sido bom, mas assim você conseguir decodar pelo celular e é surreal, surreal. Então, era isso. Tô querendo passar um pouco da visão. Para mim parece dá para colocar para usar o FFM PEG para poder identificar os pontos onde você erra, ele corta. Eh, então assim, dá para fazer umas coisas e são coisas que eu nunca queria fazer. Quando eu tinha um canal, usava mais, quando eu tinha mais canal, eu ficava com uma eu, as edições eu quase que eu não fazia, eram tipo mínimas quando eu tinha, porque era um porre um porre fazer edição. Eu não gosto, pelo menos. E agora tem a possibilidade. Então eu acho que a eu acho que finalmente temos munição para investirmos mais em coisas que queremos, mas não temos tempo de fazer. E é isso, um vídeo sem roteiro, mais que para tirar, mais para tentar dar atração aqui na ideia de botar o canal paraa frente novamente.
